Cogitore Resources Inc. intersects more copper-rich sulphides at the Scott Lake Project

COGITORE Resources Inc. (the "Company") (WOO: TSX-V) is pleased to report more encouraging assays from the Company's 100% owned Scott Lake Project in Quebec. Hole SC-29, drilled primarily to test the extension of the Central Lens 100 metres west of hole SC-15 (see press release of June 6, 2007), intersected 93.2 metres of stringer and disseminated sulphides grading 0.50% copper and 0.91% zinc, including 16.9 metres grading 1.35% copper, 1.51% zinc and 38 g/t silver, in the stratigraphic footwall of the Central Lens at a vertical depth of 410 metres. Significant assays from hole SC-29 are shown below:

ASSAY RESULTS – DDH SC-29

From (m) To (m) Length (m) Cu (%) Zn (%) Au g/t Ag g/t
373.6 385.1 11.5 0.16 0.88 0.09 6.0
385.1 419.0 33.9 basalts - no mineralization
419.0 512.2 93.2 0.50 0.91 0.11 16.0
including
442.2 454.4 12.2 0.40 1.9 0.13 15.0
and
481.8 498.7 16.9 1.35 1.51 0.17 38

The stringer zone is hosted by mineralized felsic volcanics forming the stratigraphic footwall of the Central Lens and represents a 100 metre step-out from similar mineralization in hole SC-15, which had yielded 25 metres grading 1.10% copper, 2.24% zinc and 36 g/t silver.

Company President Gérald Riverin, Ph.D., P. Geo. commented “We continue to be impressed by the intensity of the stringer-type mineralization associated with the North Horizon, which hosts the Central Lens. As our ultimate objective at Scott Lake is to identify a copper-rich orebody, we are very pleased with the results of holes SC-15 and SC-29, which were drilled 100 metres apart and graded 1.35% and 1.1% copper with about 36 g/t of silver over respective widths of 25 metres and 17 metres. The Scott Lake Project already hosts 4 massive sulphide lenses with associated copper-rich stringer zones, and a potential new massive sulphide lens was recently intersected as well (see press release of September 10, 2008). Therefore significant evidence exists of a mineralized system of a scale consistent with large deposits yet to be discovered at Scott Lake.”

Drilling will continue into November to test various geophysical targets and to test extensions of the West Lens and the potential new lens.

Work is carried out by the personnel of Cogitore Resources Inc., under the supervision of Gérald Riverin, PhD, P.Geo. He is a qualified person (as defined by National Instrument 43-101) and has more than 31 years of experience in mineral exploration.

Core is logged and sections sent for analysis are sawn in half at the Company's secure facilities in Chibougamau, Quebec. Half the core sampled is sent to ALS Chemex in Val d'Or, Quebec, for analysis with appropriate standards, duplicates and replicates used for quality control purposes. The other half of the core is retained for future reference.

The Company maintains a strategic focus on base metal exploration in prospective areas that also feature infrastructure favourable for mining development. Accordingly, its work is directed at projects in historic mining areas of Quebec, Ontario, and in the Central Belt of Newfoundland.
