Woodruff Capital Management Director Honoured
TORONTO, March 10 /CNW/ - Woodruff Capital Management Inc. ("Woodruff") (WOO-TSXV) is pleased to announce that David Comba, a director and head of Woodruff's technical committee, received the Distinguished Service Award from the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), on March 6, 2006. The award was given in recognition of Mr. Comba's contribution to successful advocacy efforts regarding the implementation of a temporary three year enhanced or 'super' flow-through share program in 2000 and two subsequent extensions. Comba received the Gold Pan Award, a similar award from the British Columbia and Yukon Chamber of Mines, in January 2005.

Mr. Comba spent most of his 42 years in the exploration sector with Falconbridge Group companies rising from an underground sampler and core grabber at Giant Yellowknife Gold Mines Limited to Vice President of Exploration Falconbridge Gold Corporation. While starting and ending in gold, most of David's experience is base metal related. He served as president for geological discussion groups and prospectors' associations in Noranda, PQ, Timmins, ON and Sudbury, ON prior to joining PDAC as a director in 1996.
